Hi:) I'm Emily Srok and I can honestly say that joining Sigma Kappa was the best decision I have ever made. When I was a collegian member I was very involved with leadership positions that helped me find my voice and shaped me into the person I am today. Holding the positions of Vice President of Membership (2015) and then President (2016) taught me more about life, and the "real world", than any college class could teach me. I am grateful for the amazing memories that I made during my collegian years and all the successes we accomplished during my time in the chapter. Working together to raise over $10,000 for the Walk to End Alzheimer's was an amazing accomplishment to be apart of and the endless memories I have from our sisterhood summer retreats will stay with me forever. I never would have guessed that all the great memories and experiences and networking I did during my collegian years would lead me to working for our national organization.
I currently am a Leadership Consultant for Sigma Kappa Sorority, and I am loving every second of it. I love being a leadership consultant because I am able to help sisters become strong leaders and motivate chapters to become the best they can be. I do what I do because I believe in Sigma Kappa and fraternity and sorority life. I want to protect and build up the integrity of fraternity and sorority life so that my future children have the amazing experience that I did within the Greek System. Sigma Kappa truly isn't just four years, It's for life. And I am forever grateful for the doors Sigma Kappa has open for me and the people that it has brought into my life.
